Abstract
The negative consequences of the Second World War for Egypt are determined by the fact that there are antipersonnel mines on its territory in the Libyan desert, which creates a direct threat for the security and life of people, creates difficulties for the development of the country’s economy. The solution of this problem is made difficult by the situation where demining cannot be carried out by the Egyptian army alone. However, inviting the states, which took the fact that there are antiper-turity and life of people, cre-iblem is made difficult by the jiviting the states, which took part in the hostilities on Egypt’s territory during the years of the Second World War and laid mines there, can cause discontent in these countries, which are Egypt’s foreign creditors. In spite of it measures should be taken so that Great Britain, Germany and Italy take on the bulk of work of the demining of Egyptian territory. It is also expedient to draw the UN forces into the mine clearance, which would make it easier to obtain the Egyptian government’s permission to carry out the necessary work in the Libyan desert.
