Abstract
The phenomenon of the ancient Egyptian kingdom, because of the great importance of this institution in ancient Egyptian culture and public life, has attracted the specialists' attention formore than a century already, being the subject of different studies and discussions. This article is devoted to the religious aspects of this phenomenon, to the revealing of the semantic horizons of the ideas "king" and "kingdom" within the framework of the ancient Egyptian religious world outlook. Exactly the studies of a number of ideas constituting the semantic field of the kingdom phenomenon in ancient Egypt, the quest for new interpretations of the already known facts seem to be the most promising to the scientists.
