Abstract
Eastern Turkestan does not figure alongside the disturbing Tibet - to a certain degree the weaker and the simpler phenomenon. But it is not Tibet, it is Eastern Turkestan that is a key to the world politics, and as such it is included into the American project of the Big Near East. Eastern Turkestan is appreciable on the balance of history and it is no less important on the balance of regional and global geopolitics. The probability, the course and the outcome of conflicts and catastrophes are weighed on this balance, where, as Julius Caesar said, "owing to (seemingly) some insignificant chances great changes" take place.
