Abstract

The relations between Pakistan and Afghanistan have influenced and continue to influence the security in Central and South Asia and on the Hindustan subcontinent. They began to play a special role at the end of the 19 - the beginning of the 21 centuries in connection with the situation in the belt of "free Pushtu tribes" of Pakistan, where till now not the laws of this state work, but in fact the free will of the leaders of these tribes. Terrorist № 1 Usama ben Laden and his accomplices have found a refuge there. Actually this territory has been turned into a base of forces dangerous not only for the states of Central and South Asia and the Hindustan subcontinent, but for the whole world community. Because of the terrorists' actions the problems have gone out of the framework of this region. The success of the struggle against the international terrorism, this very dangerous phenomenon of our time, depends on how the relations between Pakistan and Afghanistan will be developing.
