Abstract
The aim of the article is to depict the role of new actors in world economy - transnational corporations and transnational banks from oriental countries in outfl ows of private direct investment, their growing importance among leading global companies of the world. The paper shows typical features of TNCs from Asia; spheres of their activities among which can be noted ICT goods and services production; a great number of state companies among TNCs from Asia being state companies; participation of Asian TNCs in contract manufacturing for western TNCs and under their brands.
