Abstract
The article is devoted to the problems of the mountain North Caucasus peoples’ inclusion to the process of the Soviet Armed Forces building in 1920-1930s. During this period conditions for social, cultural and intellectual developments of young mountain inhabitants and for the formation of Soviet social consciousness were created. This process has been difficult and nonlinear, but in general it led to the full integration of the mountain peoples in the life and destiny of the country.
