Abstract

The article attempts to analyze the bilateral relations and mutual interests of Turkey and Lebanon. The nature of contacts between these states reflects many regional contradictions and allows, on the one hand, to understand why Lebanon has occupied a neutral position towards the military and political crisis in Syria and, on the other hand, to characterize the key foreign policy directions of the largest regional power – Turkey.
